Aluminium machine guarding.
Machine guarding applications.
A multipurpose aluminium system for machine guarding enclosures and many other applications. It can be used in robot cells and around other kinds of machinery, or for completely different purposes in areas where there’s a low risk of impact. The profiles and infills can be ordered in any size, making QuickGuard extremely flexible and customizable. Create unique solution with doors, windows, hatches, and openings. In addition, QuickGuard can be combined with Troax’s more robust steel products.
Switches, sensors, locks, and multi-function gate boxes are essential parts of a modern machine guarding enclosure as they’re used to control doors and hatches around hazardous machinery. Thanks to the innovative design, fittings can be placed basically anywhere in the profile. Safety components like light curtains and switches can be directly mounted onto the profiles.
QuickGuard Express can be ordered in standard size sections and is preferably used for enclosures with straight and angled walls. By combining sections with each other, you can build different kinds of fencing systems with only a few components.
Aluminium is an extremely flexible and versatile material. It’s also light, strong, durable, corrosion resistant, and climate efficient, making it perfect for any machine guarding projects. The pre-cut lightweight profiles allow fast and ergonomic assembly. On delivery, all brackets are supplied pre-mounted with our clever screw-lock system that automatically centers and locks the profiles. If adjustments are required, it’s easy to cut both the profiles and mesh on site.
Furthermore, you can combine various infill materials such as mesh, polycarbonate, laminated glass, sound absorbers, and steel sheets.

Panels | Aluminium profiles. Guidance for specification option: The aluminium profiles are all natural anodized 10 µm, and available in five sizes; 44 x 16, 44 x 26, 44 x 44, 44 x 88 and 88 x 88 mm. The 6 m profiles can be cut on site using a mitresaw or cut according to a drawing and adjusted to the requested sizes. Profiles to fit the standard system heights 2000 mm and 2200 mm are kept on stock. The lightweight aluminium profiles allow ergonomic assembly and can be equipped with top caps and cover strips in yellow and grey colour. Mesh panels. Guidance for specification option: The mesh infill is a welded steel mesh, black coated. A 3,5 mm wire is welded together to a mesh with an aperture of 40 x 40 mm. This allows a safety distance from the hazard of 200 mm. You can build the sections up to 2 m wide and the height of the mesh is adapted to the system height of either 2000 or 2200 mm as standard. The sizes of the sections can be adjusted to any size when ordering, and the mesh is also easy to cut on site using a bolt clipper. The mesh is inserted into the aluminium profiles and kept in place with the zinc lock for mesh. Polycarbonate panels. Guidance for specification option: Use polycarbonate as infill to get a clear view of the hazardous area. The PC-sheet provided by Troax is a 4 or 5 mm clear polycarbonate that is cut to size from a 2050 x 3050 mm sheet as maximum size. The polycarbonate sheets can be used as infill in combination with mesh or other combinations to create the requested solution. They are fixed to the frame either by using the zinc panel lock for polycarbonate or steel sheets, or the securing strips in black plastic for the PC sheets. Sound absorbing panels. Guidance for specification option: The sound-absorbing infill in sandwich construction is made of sheet metal and steel wool and has a thickness of 25 mm, which guarantees that it is non-combustible. They can be supplied in dimensions according to requirements, with a maximum size of 1963 x 922 mm. The sound-absorbing infills are easily mounted with our aluminium fastening profiles, AS1. Steel panels. Manufacturer guidanceA large range of options are available including bespoke sizes etc. Consult the technical data sheets for details and insert requirements. |
