Application

  • To be used as an underlayer in conjunction with Proteus Pro-Felt® built-up roof systems and Proteus Pro-Felt® capsheets.
  • To be used as a vapour control layer (VCL) on concrete decks.

Description

Torch-on fibreglass plastomeric bitumen membrane to be used as a VCL or underlay to high performance Proteus capsheets and as part of Proteus Pro-Felt® overlay systems and the Proteus built-up roof.

To be installed by roof torch-applied to the underside of the membrane. Ensure the underside is heated to a sufficient level and is soundly adhered to the substrate. All lap joints must be completely sealed, with a continuous 5 mm bitumen bead extruding from all laps. Side laps to be a minimum of 80 mm. End laps a minimum of 100 mm.
