Wallbarn Protecto-Drain 20P Geo is a water-storing drainage membrane, suitable for both extensive and intensive green roofs.
Application
Commonly used for extensive and green roof applications. It is laid on the sub floor, insulation or waterproofing membrane, before substrate layer.
Description
Protection and drainage layer with geotextile fabric bonded to one side.
Features and benefits:
- Perforated high density polyethylene (HPDE) with studs.
- Perforated membrane manufactured with 20 mm egg-box shaped profile and bonded with polypropylene for use on intensive and extensive green roofs.
- Geotextile fabric allows water to pass through to the HDPE membrane but keeps soil and particles in place, avoiding hydrostatic pressure on the structure.
- Resistant to chemicals, roots, mould and bacteria, but requires protection from UV.
- Harmless to drinking water.
