PFC Corofil Vent Duct Sleeves are a closure device installed around plastic vent ducts through non-load bearing wall constructions where they have been provided with apertures for the penetration of services.
PFC Corofil Vent Duct Sleeve CVDS is a flexible intumescent material, consisting primarily of mineral fibres, intercalated graphite and organic binders formed into a duct sleeve. Grey in colour it has a glass fibre reinforced aluminium foil cladding around the perimeter along its full length. Supplied in various dimensions to suit specific duct sizes, it has a nominal 25 mm thick wall. It can be cut down along its length to aid fitment and a strip of aluminium foil tape is used to seal the joint.
PFC Corofil Vent Duct Sleeves have been tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 and offer fire resistance periods of up to EI240 for PVC-U rectangular ducts and wall constructions.
