PermaTEC Anti-Root is specifically designed for use in extensive and intensive green roof and biodiverse roof systems.
Description
PermaTEC Hot Melt Monolithic Waterproofing Systems include PermaTEC Anti-Root hot melt waterproofing compounds, that is specially formulated combinations of refined bitumen, synthetic rubbers, fillers and other additives, which are hot-applied in conjunction with carefully selected reinforcement/detailing fabrics and protection layers to give the ultimate waterproofing performance.
IKO Permatec Anti-Root is a monolithic root resistant hot melt waterproofing system, eliminating the need for a separate anti-root membrane, making the specification and installation process both simpler and more cost-effective. IKO Permatec Anti-Root is extremely tough, resistant to impact damage and supplied in easy to handle 12 kg blocks. It is also environmentally friendly with recycled content and zero wrapped.

The reservoir properties allow the water storage cells to retain additional water that can be diffused to the plants during prolonged dry periods (more than six weeks without rain). Edge restraints | EGR TRM100 aluminium trim – 100 mm.Guidance for specification option: Retention edging that mitigates contamination of growing medium/substrate and plant species from the cobble border and thereafter drainage. It also completes the installation with an aesthetically neat finish by keeping the green/biodiverse roof system components in place.
