High security, trackless bi-folding speed gate.
High security bi-folding, trackless speed gate that has been successfully impact tested to BSI PAS68, stopping 7500 kg vehicles travelling at 40 and 50 mph (tested at 4200 x 2200 mm). The unique design allows the gate to operate without the use of a bottom or top track, thus eliminating any height restrictions and large tracks in the road.
With shallow foundation and extremely low penetration it provides a superb design engineered solution for protection against hostile vehicle mitigation. Its flexible, lightweight design means that it can be manufactured with different mesh infill to match existing perimeter fencing. Available as a fully automated system or manual operation to suit client’s specification.
On entrance activation, the gates open in a quick but safe folding action. On approaching the gates from the inside, a vehicle will drive over an internal safety/exit loop. Traffic lights, if installed, indicate the gates are about to move and go green when safe to enter or exit. The gates stay open and then close after all the safety devices are clear and/or after a set time. An anti tail-gating function can be enabled to control traffic flow.
