Pardak®110 - Flexible rooftop parking decks

As traffic increases and more space is occupied by buildings, rooftop car parking is becoming an attractive option, particularly in city centre buildings. Pardak®110 is designed for intensive passenger car traffic, with a total weight of up to 35 kN and a grid size of 1110 x 1110 x 96 mm (1096 x 1096 x 93 mm slab and 3–5 mm joint width).

The complete system consists of rooftop car park slabs with corner sections, tensioning elements and pressure distributor pads in vulcanised rubber granulate. The surface features drainage grooves in a diamond pattern and drain residual water towards the joints between the slabs where is flows freely into the the void for water drainage under the slabs and then into the roof outlets.

System components:

• Pardak®110 precast concrete slabs - Non-reinforced 1110 x 1110 x 96 mm slabs.
• Pardak®110 tensioning elements - Installed and tensioned at all points where the corners of adjoining slabs come together and are then adjusted to the right tension to create a unified deck.
• Pardak®110 pressure distributors - Placed under the corners of the slabs to distribute the vertical forces that occur when cards pass over the surface. They reduce contact noise and create a cavity under the slabs for water drainage.
• Pardak®110 corner piece - Ensures dimensional accuracy when tensioning the slabs.
