Collars in PVC are designed to connect prefabricated synthetic PVC membranes with through pipes. They are fitted with a smooth flange to improve welding to the prefabricated PVC roofing.
Application
An addition to piping to assist with waterflow and waterproofing.
Description
Tough and durable collar, which is fitted around the outside of pipework emerging from the top of the concrete deck, such as bad odour vents and stand pipes.
Features and benefits:
- It is manufactured in a slight cone shape to give easy installation and to help direct water outwards away from the pipe and the hole.
- Bonded by using hot air gun (not direct contact to a flame).
- The collar includes a flange at the base which is bonded to the waterproofing membrane.
- A jubilee clip is fixed around the top end of the collar to secure the whole area.
- There is a range of size options to accommodate varying pipe widths.
