Description

This traditional zinc standing seam system provides a rain-tight roof and facade covering where the pitch is in excess of 3°, preferably >7°. The single standing seam is used for roofs with a pitch steeper than 25° and for facades. For roofs with a pitch angle lower than 25°, the double standing folded seam is used.

Suitable for both roof and cladding applications and also dormer roof coverings.

A1 fire rated.

NedZink produces titanium zinc in accordance with EN 988, an alloy based on electrolytically refined zinc with a minimum purity of 99.995% Zn (Z1 in accordance with EN 1179) with small additions of the alloy elements copper, titanium and aluminium.

Solar options:

A tested thin film photovoltaic solar system is available with some of the Nedzink range. Contact Metal Solutions for more information on which finishes are suitable for this fully adhered option.

Substructure:

The bays are secured to the substructure by means of fixed and sliding clips. Suitable substructure materials:

Ventilated 18 mm-thick weather and boil proof (WPB) plywood.
Ventilated oriented strand board OSB3.
Composite panel.
Rigid insulation.
Metal trapezoidal deck (cladding only).

Underlay:

ISO-Mat Pro® underlay is recommended for cold roof applications.

ISO-Mat Metal® underlay is recommended for warm roof applications.
