A needle punched (non-woven) polypropylene filter fleece for use as a protection and filter layer in green roofs.
Application
Suitable for all types of green roof with a flat or sloped roof construction on new build or refurbishment. MedO G11 is to be installed immediately above the drainage & reservoir board in a green roof build-up.
Loose lay over a suitable Radmat reservoir and drainage panel.
Overlap adjacent rolls of Radmat G11 by a minimum of 150mm and turn up at all abutments the minimum depth of the growing media.
To be covered within one month of application.
If left exposed to wind-uplift ensure a suitable means of ballast is provided.
Description
MedO G11 Filtration Fleece is installed beneath growing media and unwashed stone ballast in a roof build-up to prevent small fines from getting to the drainage network and potentially causing a blockage.
