Description

Architectural timber louvre system, suitable for installation into any structural or glazed opening within a building or as a free-standing structure to a roof plant area, bike shelter/store or similar.

Features and benefits:

  • Standard vertical pitches of 100 and 150 mm are available.
  • Bespoke vertical louvre blade pitches can be provided through dynamic clip spacing to achieve any required free area requirements.
  • Wide range of blade profiles available: Rectangular as standard, or elliptical, circular or trapezoidal geometric sections. Can be sculptured with chamfered front and back edges to provide improved aerodynamic and weather performance.
  • Louvre blades are fitted back to ‘hidden’ vertical support mullions to provide a continuous, unbroken appearance. Alternatively, the system can be supplied with recess flashing sections to provide vertical ‘feature’ breaks along the perimeter length of the louvre screen.
  • Manufactured primarily from Western Red Cedar, Siberian Larch, European Oak, ThermoWood® with other species available subject to consultation.
  • Available in kit form (aluminium only) or factory-assembled modules.
  • Doorsets (specified separately) are available for use in high/ low voltage power stations, boiler rooms, and rooms that require a constant air flow for ventilation or combustion purposes, whilst providing weather protection to enclosed spaces; consult manufacturer for details.
  • Design, manufacture and installation service available - almost any geometry can be supplied - consult manufacturer for details.

Installation:

Can be supplied as factory assembled modular panels or kit-form systems for site assembly and installation where larger areas of louvre screening are required

Fixings:

Louvre blades are ‘clamp’ fixed between extruded aluminium channel section clips, fixed back to aluminium vertical support mullions to enable a secure and consistent product installation.

Product Options

Profile geometry:

Typically 145 x 22 mm, with a 45° chamfer to the front edge. Other sizes available upon request.
