Description

Liquid-applied polyurethane waterproofing system for use on green roofs compliant with ETA 05/0197 (EAD 030350-00-0402) and UNE CEN/TS 14416.

Comprises:

Primer, either:
MARISEAL® 710, a solvent-based polyurethane for porous substrate penetration;
MARISEAL® AQUA PRIMER, a water-based two-part epoxy primer for porous and non-porous substrate penetration.
MARISEAL® 250, a cold-applied and cold curing, one-component polyurethane membrane based on elastomeric hydrophobic resins. MARISEAL® KATALYSATOR can be added as applicable.
MARISEAL® FABRIC 110 gr, a non-woven polyester reinforcement.

The remaining build-up (e.g. drainage membrane, gravel and geotextile, soil and plants) to be specified separately in the appropriate green roof system clause.

Guidance for specification option: No primer is necessary on concretes substrates with compressive strength of at least 25 MPa and cohesive bond strength of at least 1.5 MPa. Manufacturer guidance Consult manufacturer's literature for details of substrate types and relevant primer (or whether primer is required), as well as full preparation requirements. Required coverage for all primers: 0.2 kg/m².
