A ready mixed natural cement and natural hydraulic lime mortar for exposed and submerged freshwater and saltwater applications below the water level with a refined buff-tan coloured finish.

Application

Suitable for external use, where the binder strength is appropriate for the host background or surface.

Relevant for marine building and pointing work applications, including freshwater and saltwater environments above and below the water level, including tidal environments which require a speedy set to reduce washout.

For a mortar which contains no Prompt Natural Cement, explore Marine L4. Appropriate for various project types, including conservation and renovation.

A 25kg bag will produce approximately 14.5 litres of mortar and fill roughly 1.5m² of joint at a depth of 10mm. The width and depth of the joint will influence this estimation. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.

Supplied in 25kg polythene-lined and colour and batch-coded paper bags for easy identification on-site. Palletised for ease of transport, storage, and handling. FIBC tonne bags are also available.

Description

Cornerstone Marine LP6 and Marine LP8 are dry, ready mixed natural cement and natural hydraulic lime mortars for marine building and pointing work of water-bearing masonry. Available in the colour buff-tan.

Engineered with precision, using Prompt Natural Cement, Saint-Astier® natural hydraulic lime, and natural sands to create a high-performance mortar for freshwater and saltwater applications. Available as standard with Prompt Natural Cement and Saint-Astier® NHL5.

Well-suited for submerged fresh or saltwater applications that require an accelerated fast set to reduce the risk of tidal washout.
