KTV 3 revolving door with a rigid three-wing turnstile. Upper door drive KT FLEX Direct, installed between upper and lower ceiling, gearless and low-wear direct drive without drive belts or sprockets with electromagnetic operating principle, ceiling height in the base version just 100 mm, functional manual door, door can be upgraded with functional modules ranging from positioning or servo features up to creating fully automatic door with microprocessor controller using modular features.


Manufactured and TÜV type approval in accordance with DIN 18650-1, -2; machine guideline 2006/42/EC; the guidelines for power-operated windows, doors, and gates, ASR A1.7; EN ISO 13849-1; low-voltage guideline 2006/95/EC with EN 60335-1, each in their newest versions.

Drum walls

Activation and control system

Type

KTV-A (automatic).

Fully automatic door drive with microprocessor control. Standard door system activation using motion sensors. Rotational speed is adjustable to any level. Lock: The door moves to the locking position at positioning speed and stops there. Lighting (optional accessory) is switched off automatically. Adjustable door functions using program switch:

  • Automatic I: The door system is in starting position. When a motion sensor is activated, the door system is set into motion and accelerates to walking speed. After the person leaves the door area, the system automatically switches to positioning speed and remains in the starting position until it is activated once again.
  • Automatic II: The door system turns continuously at positioning speed. After a motion sensor is activated, the door accelerates to walking speed. After the person leaves the door area, the system automatically switches back to positioning speed until it is activated once again. Night bank function (optional door equipment, not available for swinging wings): The door system initially begins in starting position. An activator (e.g. motion sensor, card reader, button) is used to open the door. After approximately two rotations, the door continues turning to the starting position and remains there until an activator is triggered once again. The system lighting (optional accessory) is continuously switched on. To avoid trapping anyone in a section of the door, infrared safety sensors are installed in the lower ceiling. These automatically turn the door further if a person is detected. Safety features required in accordance with DIN 18650/ EN 16005.

KTV-P (positioning automatic).

For manual door operation in two operation modes:

  • The door is activated manually. In addition, the electromagnetic direct drive automatically turns the door further to starting position at low energy each time a person passes through, then stops precisely in this position.
  • The system is permanently operated at low energy and low speed. Manual acceleration is possible to reach higher speeds. Equipped with a passive rubber strip on each vertical opposing closing edge.

KTV-S (servomatic).

Electromagnetic direct drive with two functions selectable using program switch:

  • Automatic I – After being activated by motion sensors, the door will be set in motion by the drive system at low energy. Manual acceleration is possible to reach higher speeds. The drive system moves the door precisely back to its starting position each time a person passes through.
  • Automatic II – The system is permanently operated at low energy and low speed. Manual acceleration is possible to reach higher speeds. Equipped with a passive rubber strip on each vertical opposing closing edge.
