System performance | Fire performance of wall lining system to BS EN 1364-1.Knauf Throughwall achieves 60, 90, 120 minutes Fire Resistance inside to outside and 120 minutes Fire Resistance outside to inside / Thermally, the U-value of a complete wall will depend on the selected panel construction, as well as the external finishes. Examples of upper and lower limit U-values for the system are 0.09W·m-2·K-1 - 0.45W·m-2·K-1. Thermal calculations and test data is available on request /Acoustically, the Knauf Throughwall system achieves between 48dB and 61dB. Acoustic test data is available on request / Knauf Windliner board system is weather resistant / The weather resistance of the wall is dependent upon the cladding and the correct positioning and sealing of all joints. It is essential that openings are appropriately sealed to ensure the weathertightness of the wall system. |
