High-performance external gypsum-based sheathing board made with special glass fibre and is durable against fire, moisture, mould and impact.
Used as an external sheathing board to provide weather protection to a lightweight steel frame construction prior to the installation of external wall insulation and facade system. Also suitable for modular and timber-framed buildings.
To achieve weather tightness, Klasse external sheathing board should be sealed with FireFend™ silicone sealant or joint tape.
Lightweight and easy to carry, it facilitates fast, practical, and economical construction solutions.
Composed of calcium sulphate dihydrate is encased within a glass fibre mat. Additionally nominal amounts of additives such as starch, foaming agent, dispersants, wax and glass fibre.
Klasse external sheathing board is coloured green on the front face and green on the back face.
