Kalwall translucent insulated glazing panel for glazing into third-party curtain wall systems.
Wall applications.
For glazing into third party curtain wall systems.
The 44mm thick panels allow seamless transitions between Kalwall Translucent panels, vision glass, doors, and louvres, giving architects and designers greater design freedom.
By integrating 44mm Kalwall panels within curtain walling systems, not only does it creates continuity but also simplifies structural design, limits different system transitions, and ultimately simplifies installation.
KALWALL® 175CW is the first in a series of new translucent insulated glazing units (TIGUs) for facade applications. The 44 mm panel fit into practically any curtain wall system on the market.

Recyclability | Can be recycled - See guidance Manufacturer guidanceKalwall has a design life of 25 years with minimal maintenance. Made from Aluminium and FRP it is chemical and rot resistant. UV stable to full body depth, it will not yellow. The FRP facesheets are also engineered to incorporate a glass erosion barrier, preventing fibre bloom. The Aluminium frame is easily recycled, the FRP sheets can be separated and used in the waste to energy industry. The used glass fibres can also be collected and used in the manufacturing of aggregates and asphalt manufacturing. Structura have partnered with Agecko, a leading UK expert in GRP recycling. |
