Application
Coated profiles designed to meet the requirements for the suspension and support of exterior grade boards in applications including:
- Swimming pools;
- Wet rooms;
- High humidity areas;
- External soffits;
- Semi-exposed car parks;
- Canopies;
- Chemical processing plants;
- Cattle sheds; alcohol distilleries.
Description
Coated profiles and accessories designed to meet the requirements for the suspension and support of specialist boards to be used in swimming pool/ chlorinated atmospheres, external/ high humidity areas and chemically exposed areas.
C5 coating meets with the requirements of ISO 12944 and provides a high level of anti-corrosion resistance.
The C5 System is also designed to meet the requirements for external applications where there are wind loads (suction and pressure).
For external applications, Protektor Internal Structure Engineers can calculate the required centres for the suspension hangers and main supporting profiles and board profiles, ensuring that the gridwork is capable of supporting the required board/ cladding.
Note: In coastal areas the manufacturer recommends the C5 range of profiles for a higher level of corrosion resistance.
