Application

The planks are satisfactory to be used as an exterior non-loadbearing wall cladding over timber-framed, masonry or concrete, or aluminium steel-framed walls.

Description

This range of high-performance cladding panels and weatherboard planks are a low maintenance alternative to natural wood. Manufactured from high quality portland cement, sand and cellulose fibres, weatherboard cladding boards are a lightweight, easy-to-cut material that does not shrink or split. When installed in accordance with the product's BBA certificate, and subjected to normal conditions of exposure and use, the product will have an estimated service life in excess of 30 years.


This range offers multiple colour and texture options, with a full range of colour matched or complementary coloured trims and accessories.


Features and benefits:

  • A2-s1, d0 classification in accordance with EN 13501-1: 2007.
  • Classified as Class 0 or ‘low risk’ as defined in the various national Building Regulations (see section 7 of BBA certificate 04/4147).
  • Available in two textures (a timber effect look and a smooth finish) and a variety of colours to suit a range of project designs.
  • This system utilizes ColourPlus™ Technology, which provides a multi-coat, durable and fade-resistant finish that lasts.
  • Colours range from traditional and neutral whites, greys and browns to more vibrant blues, greens and red.
  • Installation of this system is quick and easy and offers the installer maximum flexibility, with options to install boards horizontally, vertically, ship-lapped or open jointed.
  • Panels are 8 mm thick, 1220 mm wide and come in either 2400 mm or 3050 mm lengths.
  • The weight of the panels is 8.6 kg or 11.2 kg.
  • Planks are 8 mm thick, 180 mm wide and 3600 mm long.
  • The weight of the planks is 7.4 kg per plank, totaling 11.419 kg/m².
  • Portland cement boards, satisfying the requirements of Category A, Class 2 in accordance with BS EN 12467:2012.
