Iso-Mount Type3 - Acoustic hangers for ceiling soundproofing - Soundproof Ceiling System

Isolating acoustic hanger for the construction of soundproof ceilings (reduces airborne and impact noise).

Oscar Iso-Mount Type3 acoustic hangers fix direct to concrete, steel and plasterboard onto joist ceilings, with 100 mm void for insulation. Ceiling height loss is nominal: 100 mm plus the thickness of the new ceiling boards.

Oscar Iso-Mount Type3 acoustic hanger has an inbuilt + and – 10 mm height adjustment. That’s a 20 mm adjustment for levelling ceilings.

The maximum loading is 12.5 kg per mount; when evenly spaced, four Type3 Iso-Mounts per square metre gives a maximum loading of 50 kg/m².

• Oscar Foam: Compressible self-adhesive Class 0 foam used to isolate ceiling boards from walls.
