INVI Alubase Flat - Flush - Aluminium Flat Skirting Board

Alubase® is a natural anodized slimline aluminium skirting range section designed for quick and easy finishing of plaster walls in commercial, industrial and residential applications. The SK100 is the adhesive fix, aluminum skirting provides a flat and minimal look finishing off walls at floor level.

The Alubase® aluminium skirting profile is manufactured to the UK Standards: Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys – Extruded Rod, Bar, Solid and Hollow Shapes. Alubase skirting is manufactured from 1.6 mm natural anodized aluminum and is available in 100 mm width.

After fixing wallboard to stud wall, the Alubase skirting should be fixed to the base of the plasterboard wall with an appropriate construction adhesive.

This product is designed for taped and jointed walls and to be plastered in with a jointing compound such as Gyproc Joint Filler, Knauf Jointer filler or similar. This has not been designed for use with a wet plaster skim finish although it is possible.
