An offsite manufactured, timber-based structural roof deck with weather tight membrane.
Application
Suitable for flat or low-pitched roofs <5° with a parapet wall. Insulation to be fitted above (by others) to create a warm roof construction. Compatible with various insulated roof covering systems such as Bauder or Sika. Designed to support roof mounted services and plant such as ventilation equipment and photo-volatic arrays.
Description
Engineered structural timber rafters and joists with OSB deck and self-adhesive weatherproof membrane. Provides a safe working platform and suitable substrate for a range of roofing systems including green roof, and single-ply membrane.
Designed specifically for the project, manufactured offsite and delivered in large-format 2.4 x 8 m units. Compatible with Innovaré i-FAST external wall system and parapet walls which provide leading edge protection during and after construction. i-FAST is available to specify separately.
The roof system can be installed with temporary water outlets to drain rainwater during construction and before the final roof system is completed.
