BBA Agrément Certificate
Certificate type
An open cell impregnated expanding foam tape that is capable of maintaining a weather tight seal against the most severe combination of wind and rain where differential movement occurs.
Applied to the tolerance gap between the window head and sill in timber framed constructions that are subject to differential movement.
Store below 10°C in warm weather to prevent premature expansion. TP450 is inserted into the joint. Do not stretch whilst applying. Apply direct from the roll.
Soft and flexible open-cell polyurethane foam impregnated with an acrylic-based UV-stabilized resin. The resin is water repellant and contains a fire retardant. The product is supplied pre-compressed on rolls in engineered width and sealing ranges with a self-adhesive on one side to aid installation and initial location. It is weather tight against the most severe combination of wind and rain. TP450 TimberMax is applied to the head and cill detail in Timberframe Constructions that are subject to differential movement. Standard illmod TP600 or Compriband e is applied to the jambs.
