Description

A lightweight, non-loadbearing, drylining system which is erected independently of the external wall construction. The system can be used in all types of buildings, but is particularly suitable for those with reinforced concrete or steel frames. The lining provides fire resistance to structural steel sections clad with lightweight metal sheeting, and can also be used in association with new or existing masonry walls to increase sound insulation and meet thermal performance requirements.

Performance:

  • BS 5234 Duty rating: Up to Severe.
  • Fire resistance: 30–90 minutes.
  • Sound insulation, Rw: 59–61 dB.
  • Thermal performance, U-value: 0.34–0.19 W/m²K.
