Guidance for specification option:

Installed under the up-stand cover making waterproofing easier. Only one drill hole is also required.
If fixing the plate to a concrete up-stand with no cracks, it is essential to use a mechanical plug. The minimal width of the up-stand should be no less then 150 mm.
If the plate is being fixed to a concrete up-stand with cracks, then a chemical plug must be used with a maximum diameter of 12 mm.

On a concrete slab, the fixing is carried out using two mechanical plugs. The plate is positioned at least 50 mm from the up-stand or the waterproofing.

On a concrete parapet with no cracks, the guardrail can be fixed using two mechanical plugs. The plugs should be installed at a minimum of 65 mm from the edge.
A chemical plug can be used should the parapet have cracks or have a low density.
