Provides unobtrusive high-level ventilation to the roof space.
Application
Can be used in conjunction with traditional ‘lead roll’ details on plain tile and slate roofs. It is also particularly useful in top edge abutment situations where the Glidevale Protect MR50 Monovent cannot be installed because of limited vertical clearance.
Description
The Glidevale Protect AV50 AbVent provides unobtrusive high-level ventilation.
Features and benefits:
- Guaranteed 5000 mm²/m ventilation provision to comply with BS 5250 and Building Regulations.
- Deluge and driving rain resistant as well as preventing large insect ingress.
- Unobtrusive when installed. Hidden within the roof flashings.
- Available with integral AluFlash, the lead-free alternative.
- Each unit overlaps the next to ensure integrity of flashing.
- Quick and easy to install. Does not affect the normal laying of the roof covering.
- Minimum pitch 20°.
