GL 270 / 271 Fire Rated Loft Access Doors

A range of one hour fire rated 'drop down' loft access doors.

The units meet the British Standard recommendation for a leakage rate of <1 m³ at a pressure differential of 2 Pa, and the Building Regulations Part L2A ‘reasonable limit’ for the design air permeability of buildings of 10 m³/h.m² at 50 Pa.

Product options:

- Type GL 270 F One Hour Fire Rated Drop Down Loft Access Door:

• Designed for flush fitting to the ceiling and to fit between 600 mm centre joists.
• Draught seals are fitted to all four sides of the door.
• Supplied with a budget lock and 'T' key as standard.
• The door panel is supported along its length by two removable pivot plates with inserted steel pins located into holes in the frame.
• Manufactured from Zintec electro-galvanized mild steel finished in polyester powder coated (white), with a PVC foam seal and mineral fibre insulation.
• Fitting size: 562 x 562 mm, overall size: 580 x 580 mm.

- Type GL 271 F One Hour Fire Rated Drop Down Loft Access Door:

• The same specification as GL 270 F above but fitted with a key lock.
