Application

For twin installation with 18 mm or 50 mm gap on roof pitches between 15–90°. Ideal for out-of-reach areas.

Description

Features and benefits:

  • Fully integrated, pre-installed motor.
  • Photovoltaic cell on the external window frame charges the battery which in turn powers the motor for operation; PV cell requires direct exposure to sunlight.
  • No need to plug into a power supply.
  • Ideal for out-of-reach areas.
  • Simple, convenient wall switch to operate the windows.
  • Rain sensor closes window automatically in the event of rain.

  • Thermal performance (U-value): 1.1 W/m²K.
  • Sound insulation (Rw): 35 dB.

Energy efficiency installation collars:

  • Insulation collar – Code BDX 2011 for 18 mm frame gaps: Optimizes the insulation around the window frame by preventing heat loss and eliminating cold bridges. Includes underfelt collar BFX.
  • Underfelt collar – Code BFX: Ensures a weathertight seal between the roof window and the roof.
  • Vapour barrier collar – Code BBX: Provides vapour control and air permeability seal.


Flashing:

Flashings are available in materials and finishes to match roof window cladding.

- Code EBL 0021B:

  • For standard installation into slate and flat roofing materials up to 8 mm thick: not suitable for interlocking slate.
  • 18 mm gap between units.
  • Roof pitch 15–90º.

- Code EBW 0021B:

  • For standard installation into flat and profiled roofing materials up to 120 mm thick, including profiled sheeting and interlocking slates.
  • 18 mm gap between units.
  • Roof pitch 15–90º.

- Code EBP 0021B:

  • For standard installation into plain tiles up to 14 mm thick
  • 18 mm gap between units.
  • Roof pitch 25–90º.

- Code EBL 0021C:

For CK02, CK04 and CK06 size windows only.

  • For standard installation into slate and flat roofing materials up to 8 mm thick: not suitable for interlocking slate.
  • 50 mm gap between units.
  • Roof pitch 15–90º.

- Code EBW 0021C:

For CK02, CK04 and CK06 size windows only.

  • For standard installation into flat and profiled roofing materials up to 120 mm thick, including profiled sheeting and interlocking slates.
