Description

Features and benefits:

  • Fully integrated. pre-installed motor.
  • Ideal for out-of-reach areas.
  • Additional fixed elements beneath offer a great view while standing and when seated.
  • Fixed elements beneath are installed in combination side by side to create panoramic views.
  • The fixed window is installed directly below the roof window.
  • Combination flashings are modular meaning there is no limit to the overall size of the group, but the minimum distance between windows side by side is 100 mm.
  • Ventilation, exterior maintenance and cleaning is all via the roof window.
  • Simple, convenient wall switch to operate the upper windows.
  • Rain sensor closes the upper windows automatically in the event of rain.

The number of roof windows must be the same as the number of lower fixed windows; roof windows and lower fixed windows must be the same width.


Flashing:

Flashings are available in materials and finishes to match roof window cladding.

  • Code EKL + ETL: For standard installation into slate and flat roofing materials up to 8 mm thick. Not suitable for interlocking slate; Roof pitches from 15–90°.
  • Code EKW + ETW: For standard installation into flat and profiled roofing materials up to 120mm thick, including profiled sheeting and interlocking slates. Roof pitches from 15–90°.
  • Code EKN + ETN: For recessed installation into slate and flat roofing materials up to 8 mm thick. Not suitable for interlocking slate; Roof pitches from 15–90°.
  • Code EKJ + ETJ: For recessed installation into flat and profiled roof materials up to 90 mm thick, including profiled sheeting and interlocking slates; Roof pitches from 20–90°.
  • Code ZWC: Window profile set to be used in conjunction with on-site weathering for non-standard roofing materials. For further details please contact VELUX.
