Description

Chipboard worktop faced with a 3 mm GetaCore® acrylic-bound solid and decorative surface material.

Features and benefits:

  • Food safe (according to EN 1186 and EN 13130).
  • Easy to clean.
  • Resistant to common household chemicals (according to DIN EN ISO 19712).
  • Seamless joints.
  • Heat resistant up to 180°C (according to DIN EN ISO 19712).
  • Light-fast wool standard scale 6 (according to ISO 4892, ISO 105-B02, and ISO 105-A02).
  • Repairable and renewable to the original finish if required - consult manufacturer for information.
  • Warm to the touch.
  • Impact resistant (according to DIN EN ISO 19712).
  • The surface is foil protected.

Components (from top to bottom):

  • 3 mm GetaCore surface to the top (wet sanded, P 600).
  • Front edge of 10 mm GetaCore surface.
  • 35 mm chipboard substrate (type P3, according to DIN EN 312).
  • Elastic expansion joint (between substrate and GetaCore edge).
  • 0.3 mm water-resistant balancer to the reverse side.
  • PU sealing (moisture resistant, placed at the GetaCore/ balancer joint along the front edge).

Construction class DIN 4102-B2 (normal flammability).

Technical characteristics:

  • Formaldehyde emission (to EN 13986): Class E1.
  • Impact resistance (falling ball test, to DIN EN ISO 19712): 2000 mm falling height.
  • Resistance to elevated temperature (long-term exposure, to DIN EN ISO 13894-1): 70°C.
  • Resistance to dry heat (to DIN EN ISO 19712): 180°C (slight change in gloss level and/ or colour, only visible from certain angles).
  • Resistance to damp heat (DIN EN ISO 19712): 100°C (slight change in gloss level and/ or colour, only visible from certain angles).
  • Light fastness (blue scale 6, to ISO 4892, ISO 105-B02 and ISO 105-A02): Grey scale, ≥4.
  • Food safety (to EN 1186, EN 13130, CEN/ TS 14234): Approved.
