Application
Used in construction for three-dimensional load spreading or containment systems.
Typical applications include tree root protection, erosion control, retaining structures, and temporary or permanent track and compound construction where a no-dig system is specified.
Description
GeoTrax GC is an expandable cellular confinement system that can be filled with sand, soil, gravel or other site materials for use in the construction of three dimensional load spreading or containment systems.
Features and benefits:
- Constructed from 1.6 mm perforated and textured HDPE.
- Available in 75, 100, 150 and 200 mm deep variants.
- Typical uses include tree root protection, erosion control, retaining structures and temporary or permanent track and compound construction when a no-dig system has been specified.
- Can reduce the overall construction depth thereby reducing the cost of the infill material.
- Works by confining the infill material and spreading downward forces from traffic laterally to reduce pressure on the sub base.
