Application

  • Designed for use in a wide variety of ESD installations – electronic manufacturing, pharmaceutical applications etc.
  • Suitable for use where high voltage equipment, computers and sensitive electronic equipment are used.

Description

Static disipative linoleum sheets available in six colours.

Features and benefits:

  • Electrical resistance is reduced to <1.10^8 ohm (EN 1081), ensuring personal safety and protecting products and equipment that are sensitive to static electricity.
  • Resistant to diluted acids, oils, fats and to conventional solvents. Not resistant to prolonged exposure to alkalis.
  • Complies with all the requirements of EN ISO 24011.
  • All Marmoleum is produced using 100% renewable electricity.
  • All Marmoleum site offcuts can be returned to Forbo for reprocessing using a 'Back to the Floor' initiative.
  • After Marmoleum’s long life, it can be incinerated for landfill, and this reclaims more energy that is used in production. It is also biodegradable in a controlled environment.
  • Marmoleum has natural bacteriostatic properties which are confirmed by independent laboratories, even against the bacteria MRSA.
  • Marmoleum is made of 97% natural materials, Marmoleum contains PEFC certified wood flour, Marmoleum is free of PVC, PET, synthetic rubber and plasticizers.

Primer:

  • Eurocol 041SC static conductive primer.
  • Application: Roller applied to base (including top surface of copper strips) at rate of 7 m²/L.

Adhesive:

  • Eurocol 615 Eurostar Lino EL solvent free very low-emission conductive adhesive.
  • Application: V-notched trowel.

Electrical grounding:

  • 10 mm wide copper strip(s) fixed to base using Eurocol 512SC static conductive adhesive, not less than one strip for each 36 m² of floor area.
  • Link to ground connection(s) supplied by others.
