Waterproof and moisture-resistant due to its hermetically closed glass cell structure.
High compressive strength and dimensionally stable.
Highly resistant to all forms of infestation and vermin.
Resistant to organic solvents and acids.
Insulation manufactured primarily from recycled glass (≥60%).

Compressive strength:

FOAMGLAS® insulation has a high compressive strength, capable to take high loads without deformation or deflection due to its rigid cell structure. FOAMGLAS® passes EN 826 Annex A that defines the uniform load bearing capabilities of insulations which do not compress before the load capability is recorded.

FOAMGLAS® is dimensionally stable, neither shrinks nor swells and does not slump over time. It has a low co-efficient of expansion within the same range to steel, wood and concrete.
