FirePro® AIS is an acrylic based fire-resistant ablative sealant, designed for use as part of a fire-stopping solution to reinstate the fire performance of walls and floors.
Application
Suitable for use in sealing service penetrations, linear joint seals and around fire insulation applications, for use with FirePro® CB50/60.
Description
FirePro® AIS is an acrylic-based fire-resistant sealant, which can be used as a fire-resistant seal within construction joints, service penetrations and to seal FirePro CB50 within penetration seals.
Designed to reinstate the fire resistance of compartment walls and floors, FirePro AIS provides fire resistance of up to 240 minutes in accordance with BS EN 1366-4: 2021, subject to the application. FirePro AIS has replaced FirePro Acoustic Intumescent Sealant as the new EN-tested solution.

- Classified in accordance with BS EN 13501-2: 2023.
- Airborne sound insulation measured in accordance with BS EN ISO 10140-2: 2021.
- UL-EU Mark certificate number: UL-EU-01364-EN.
- Suitable for linear joints up to 60 mm wide.
- Weighted sound reduction up to 62 dB.
Note: Should not be allowed to come into direct contact with chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (cPVC) type piping.
