Fireline™ 140 Fire Barrier System - Fire Barrier

Our design experts engineered the Fireline™ 140 fire barrier system for a true drop in installation with adjustable compression springs that provide outward pressure within the throat of the joint. Two hour Rated Fire Barrier with male/female ends for consistent installation and protection.

Features and benefits:

• Passive fire barrier system for one and two-hour fire rating.
• For use in horizontal and vertical expansion joints ranging 50–100 mm in size. 50% +/- seismic movement rating.
• Patented pre-attached plunges utilizing adjustable compression springs for consistent outward pressure during joint cycling.
• Sections come with factory made male to female ends, eliminating the need for complex field manipulation at seams (see technical data for details).
• No mechanical fastening required for installation.
• Product utilizes a combination of a tough outer wall for transport and installation protection along with layers of intumescences and high temperature insulation to resist toxic smoke and fire.
• Product mounts against the inside face of the expansion joint. This eases installation of any cover plate or chase wall system allowing for a more consistent finish.
• System sold in 2 m lengths.

Tested in accordance with:

• UL 2079/ULC S-115 "FTH" (FTH: Rating Fire, Temperature and Hose).
• ASTME-E119/E 1399/E1966.
• EN 1366-4 and BS 476, 120 minutes.
