FILON 0.7 mm Site Assembled Walkable Liner - Rooflight liner

Site assembled rooflight liner designed for use with built-up profiled metal systems incorporating a 0.7 mm gauge steel walkable liner.

Features and benefits:

• Designed to be Class B non-fragile at the lining out stage with a minimum CE30 rooflight liner when fixed and sealed as recommended.
• Minimum 5.5 mm diameter austenitic stainless steel main fasteners with minimum 29 mm diameter sealing washers at maximum 200 mm centres for outer sheets or minimum 5 fasteners per sheet width for liners.
• Typical fixing specification includes stitch screws at 450 mm centres where rooflight overlaps, reduced to 300 mm for exposed sites or roof pitches less than 10°.
• Liner end laps located directly above a purlin with edges minimum 50 mm from fixing line, sealed with continuous 6 mm bead or 6 x 5 mm cross-linked butyl mastic sealant tape.
• Liner side laps overlapped on both sides and sealed with 50 mm wide cross-linked film backed butyl mastic tape for air seal.
• Core panel secured to liner with continuous 9 x 3 mm cross-linked butyl mastic tape between core panel and sidelapping profile crowns.
• Outer sheet end laps located directly over spacer bar with minimum 50 mm from fixing line, sealed with two continuous runs of 6 mm bead or 6 x 5 mm tape cross-linked butyl mastic sealant.
• Outer sheet side laps stitched at maximum 450 mm centres with standard stitch screws, reduced to 300 mm for exposed sites or roof pitches below 10°.
