FGT - Reinforcing Mat

DURABASE FGT is a fibreglass reinforcing and decoupling mat for indoor and outdoor walls and floors. 

In renovation projects, it is common to encounter substrates that are not sufficiently stable enough to install new floor coverings. Conventional renovation methods usually cannot be applied due to their installation height.

If a change of flooring type is then planned, e.g. tiling on wooden floors or vinyl floor covering on old and cracked tiles, the sub-structures need to be additionally reinforced to reduce stress due to differing thermal expansion of the materials.

DURABASE FGT is a fibreglass reinforcement mat that guarantees maximum strength yet at the same time is flexible enough to compensate for any stress which may occur. It is the safe choice for all types of floor coverings that need to be installed on substrates with insufficient load-bearing characteristics.
