Fascia Boards

Application

The fascia boards are used around the perimeter of a decking area, under the edging profiles, to cover the subframe and to add a finishing touch. They are also used on their own as cladding, either with the boards butted together as a flat finish or with the boards overlapping each other as a shiplap effect. Due to the flexibility of the fascia, it will fit the contours on almost any project.

Installation:

When used on a decking installation the Fascia boards need to be fully supported by the perimeter joist, fixed at 200-300mm centres with two Durafix fixings. When used on a cladding installation the fascia boards need to be supported by battens at 300mm centres, again fixed with two Durafix fixings where it crosses the batten.

Description

The fascia collection discreetly works with your choice of Millboard, ensuring the final look is seamless. Available in nine colours, the structural core of Millboard fascia is a blend of natural minerals bonded in a polymer resin, with long fibre reinforcement for mechanical strength and durability. The top surface is a textured, resilient Lastane® layer which is chemically melded to the core and hand-tinted using 2K component pigments that resist fading and UV damage.

Features and benefits:

  • 100% wood-free and hand-moulded, on three sides, to give a real-wood grain representation.
  • Unique Lastane® finish provides low slip potential, and is resistant to scratches, food and drink stains, and everyday wear and tear.
  • Millboard Durafix® stainless steel screw fixings sink into the Lastane® material to achieve a virtually indistinguishable mark.
  • Non-porous composition makes it resistant to algae, insects and liquids (including fats, food, drink and urine).
  • Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards, ISO 14001 Environmental Standards and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
  • Fascia boards will bend to a radius of 1.2 m.
