A joint waterproofing system for expansion joints.
Application
- Koster Joint Sealant can be used to permanently and elastically seal joints in below grade construction, cracks in basements, foundations of buildings, joints in sewage treatment plants, garages, tunnels, roads, bridges, parking decks, airfields and other trafficked areas.
- Sealing joints in underground garages, building foundations, water channels, gas stations, parking decks, etc.
- Sealing joints prior or after joint injections with Koster Injection gels.
- Koster Joint Sealant FS-H is suitable for horizontal joints. Koster Joint Sealant FS-V can be used to seal vertical joints. It is also suited for application on horizontal joints.

Description
A joint waterproofing system for movement and expansion joints in a variety of substrate types.
Koster`s range of FS Joint Sealants are polysulphide-based elastic materials that are characterized as having excellent resistance to mechanical stresses, UV radiation, ageing and aggressive chemicals. The substrate is primed with the fast curing, transparent, solvent free, two component bonding agent - Koster FS Primer 2C. A customary closed cell backing cord is then installed into the joint - to a pre-determined depth - before applying the material. To avoid damage caused by tension stresses, the joint sealant is applied in thicknesses depending on the measurements of the joint.
The system is available in black and grey.
