Eurothane® GP is a high performance rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam board for use in multiple applications, including pitched roofs, floors and framed walls. It is faced on both sides with a multi-layer coated aluminium foil.

Features:

  • Manufactured to ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
  • Manufactured using a blowing agent with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP).
  • Low thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/m·K.
  • CE marked in accordance with harmonized European standard EN 13165.
  • Suitable for use with underfloor heating systems.
  • Can be fitted between stud frames and rafters, as well as internally or externally.

Thermal bridging:

With increasing levels of insulation it is important to ensure the continuity of insulation at the junction of elements. In floors, this means the use of perimeter upstand insulation around the screed or slab. In pitched roofs and framed walls, the use of continuous insulation layers in addition to insulation installed between the structure is recommended. This provides a more efficient solution overall and makes it easier to achieve continuity of insulation.

Compressive strength:

  • Exceeds 120 kPa at yield for thicknesses <50 mm.
  • Exceeds 140 kPa at yield for thicknesses ≥50 mm.
