Wood-free composite cladding boards that replicate real timber board and batten.
Envello cladding is extremely versatile and can be used for most low-level cladding areas as an alternative to timber cladding (subject to building control). Areas include:
Envello can be used as the decorative face for most outdoor designs, as long as it is fixed to a structural element. All areas subject to the relevant government regulations/building standards.
The Board & Batten+ composite cladding profile has been moulded from real oak masters with different widths and grain patterns, creating an exclusive balance for both contemporary and traditional designs. With a tongue and groove profile that only requires fixings through the tongue, ensuring the fixing is hidden.
Tested to the rigorous demands of BS EN 13501-1, the Board & Batten+ system achieves a classification of Euroclass D.

Material | Not required. Supplied by others. |
Fasteners | Not required. Supplied by others. |
Cladding support | |
Counter battens | Not required. Guidance for specification option: Not required for horizontal cladding installations. Supplied by others. |
Battens | Supplied by others. Guidance for specification option: Suitable treated timber battens.
For areas of high wind loading exceeding 1.0 kN/m², severe weather exposure or where exceptional impact loading requirements are anticipated (i.e. low-level applications near pedestrian access, schools, leisure facilities etc.) batten support spacing should be reduced to increase the board stiffness. There should always be battens attached to the wall vertically to allow clear ventilation behind the boards. |
Fasteners | Supplied by others. Guidance for specification option: Battens should be fixed to the structural wall using suitable external grade fixings. |
