Application

Designed for open or closed rainscreen cladding systems, cavity and masonry, leaf weatherboarding panels, tile/ slate and timber frame cladding. Suitable for facades with cladding open joints up to 50 mm and maximum up to 50% of facade area.

Description

Fire-retardant waterproofing breathable membrane, made of polyester nonwoven with a waterproof special coating. Has exceptional UV resistance, and it protects the building against driving rain and moisture, preventing future corrosion, insulation deterioration and mould growth. Increases the building energy efficiency and minimizes the condensation risk.

Guidance for specification option:

Used to form a secure and permanent seal of overlaps between Effisus Breather FR –B and other vapour barriers and/or breathable membranes, sheathing boards joints, roof underlays and wall membranes (EPDM, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, etc.) and non-mineral surfaces. Effisus Adjoin TI Tape is also suitable for sealing butt joints between wood-based, cement, silicate calcium boards, gypsum fibreboards or other similar sheathing boards.

Guidance for specification option:

Double-sided adhesive tape, based on an advanced technology with active adhesive sealants that ensure excellent adhesion to the most diverse materials: Concrete, aluminium, galvanized steel, sheathing board, EPDM, most roofing membranes (requires compatibility test), etc.
