Specialist stitching fastener designed for fastening components to thin sheet metal.
Application
For fixing brackets, top-hats and other components to thin steel sheeting (e.g. composite panel skin) within roofing and cladding systems.
Description
The DF3-SSA4-LS fastener has a specially designed drill point and thread geometry for fixing to thin steel sheet. The conical bonded washer achieves a sealed connection on various application depths.
Features and benefits:
- A4/316 grade stainless steel (1.4401).
- Free-spin zone to prevent unwinding.
- High pull-out performance from thin steel sheet.
- Supplied pre-assembled with an aluminium-backed ethylene-propylene diene monomer (EPDM) sealing washer (19 mm diameter).
