Silicone Dash
Cement based, polymer modified and self coloured dash receivers.
Used over K Rend Base Coats, normally applied as an excellent background for any dry dash or roughcast finish for new build or refurbishment.
K Rend Dash Receivers are cement based, polymer modified and self coloured, requiring only the addition of water and ten minutes mixing time. It is normally applied over K Rend Base Coats as a background surface for dry dash or roughcast finishes.
Silicone Dash
Silicone Dash is specifically designed to incorporate the benefits of silicone water repellents into a cement-based render system. Silicone adds a high water repellent quality, while allowing water vapour to pass freely through the render; thus the amount of dirt adhering to the surface is greatly reduced, ensuring a freshly rendered appearance for a prolonged period of time. This dry surface also improves the resistance of the finished render to algae growth and the natural phenomenon of lime-bloom.
Standard Dash
For general use, normally applied on to K Rend Base Coats. Apply 6–10 mm thick, depending on the size of the dashing aggregate.
Silicone Spray Dash
A silicone enhanced dash receiver specifically designed for spray application. Silicone Spray Dash can be applied on to a K Rend base coat, or as a one-coat finish, applied using two passes and allowing the first pass to stiffen prior to application of a second pass. Apply 6–10 mm onto a basecoat, or 16–20 mm in two passes if applied directly to blockwork.
Overcoating Silicone Dash
Overcoating Silicone Dash is specifically designed for refurbishment over existing dry dash finishes. Apply 8–10 mm thick.
