Description

Koster Crisin Cream is a system specially designed for simple and effective installation of a retroactive damp proof course (DPC).

This system can be installed from inside and/ or from the outside of the building without need for high pressure injection equipment - only a hand cartridge caulking applicator is required to process the material.

It can be applied in cases of high degrees of moisture penetration (95% ±5% saturation) and with all degrees of salt contamination.

Features and benefits:

  • Solvent-free.
  • Easy application.
  • Highly effective.
  • More than 85% active ingredients.

Installation:

  1. Holes with a diameter of 14 mm are drilled horizontally, ideally in the lowest masonry joint. Drill until 3 cm away from the other side of the wall - do not drill completely through the wall.
  2. The drilled holes are then cleaned by flushing with water or with compressed air. The holes are to be spaced 10 cm apart independent of the wall thickness.
  3. Koster Crisin Cream is then injected from the cartridge with the aid of an injection tube to ensure material reaches the deepest part of the pre-drilled hole.
  4. When using the 600 ml tubular bags, the tubular bags are placed in the cartridge gun fitted with the injection tube and the tubular bag opener and pressed into the holes.
  5. When installing the material, make sure that the borehole is filled evenly and without voids from the back to the front. The holes can be sealed immediately with Koster KB Fix 5 flush with the wall.

Koster Aquatecnic offer a range of finishing systems such as Koster Restoration Plaster. Please see separate NBS listings.
