CS Wallglaze® Armourglaze™
Description

A tough polyurethane coating system which will withstand rigorous cleaning with fumigants, peroxides and other aggressive chemical cleaners. Highly durable, abrasion resistant and anti-microbial, Armourglaze™ is suitable for use in cutting edge research laboratory conditions as well as mortuaries.

CS Wallglaze® Armourglaze™

Primer

One coat of CS Wallglaze® Plastic Primer, at 12–15 m²/ litre

For plastics.

One coat of CS Wallglaze® Multi Surface Primer, at 6-14 m²/ litre

For ceramic tiles, melamine surfaces, brickwork/blockwork, vibro-concrete and wet areas.

One coat of CS Wallglaze® White Primer, at 7-9 m²/ litre

For application to plaster or plasterboard in dry areas.

Undercoat

CS Wallglaze® Universal Undercoat, at 9-11 m²/ litre

For application of the system on plaster and plasterboard in dry areas only. For other substrates and/or wet areas only two topcoats are required.

Top coat

Two coats of CS Armourglaze™ Topcoat Satin, at 7.5-9.5 m²/ litre

For Satin finish.

One coat of CS Armourglaze™ Topcoat Satin, at 7.5-9.5 m²/ litre and one coat of CS Armourglaze™ Topcoat Gloss, at 8-10 m²/ litre

For Gloss finish.

  • Food and pharmaceutical process areas requiring very high chemical resistance.
  • Exterior and interior building walls requiring anti-graffiti protection.
  • Prisons and police stations.
  • Plant rooms.

Fire performance:

  • BS 476–7: Class 1.
  • BS 476–6: Designated 0.

Operational temperature:

Once applied and cured, CS Armourglaze is stable in temperatures between -15°C and +90°C.

Product Options

Finishes:

  • The system is available in clear or a range of colour options including BS 4800, RAL or NCS 2nd Series type colours. Colour matching to a customer's requirement can also be achieved, but is subject to longer lead times.
  • Finish: Satin or gloss.
