Application

For internal ceiling lining applications.

Large timber slat sizes which are unpractical in solid wood.

Description

BCL Large Size Baffle Slats use a lightweight foam core MDF substrate to almost any size, paired with a range of real wood veneers, to create large-size timber baffle systems that have significantly less overall structural loading and allow for safe manageable weights on site.

The foam core baffles allow the specification of real wood finishes in large sizes, unachievable with solid wood. These lightweight real wood veneer baffles will also bring all the benefits of a BCL panel system.

Features and benefits:

  • Full systems fire testing to EN 13501-1.
  • BIM level 4 full system design (in Revit or similar).
  • SIDOS compliant ‘bomb-blast’ grids available.
  • Flexible panel sizes to suit layouts - no cutting = < 1% waste.
  • Secret-fixings - timber slats age better and coatings last longer.
  • FSC® and PEFC certified timber - Full BREEAM Mat03 credits.
  • High recycled content (typically 30%).
  • High natural/organic content (typically 25%).
  • Bespoke fire retardant colour coatings.
  • Coloured acoustic fabrics.
  • Anti-viral/ bacterial infection control options.
  • Direct installation service.
