Caltite (Aquapel - 8 Ltrs) - Water Resistant Concrete

Cementaid’s range of waterproofing, gas and radon protection solutions are practical and time-proven to produce truly damp-proof, highly durable concrete which can be used either as stand-alone protection (or part of dual protection systems, when required).

Caltite modified concretes have a successful track record of over 60 years of helping designers, developers and owners waterproof and protect concrete structures, even under the most aggressive and corrosive conditions.

Caltite (Aquapel - 8 Ltrs) is a water resistant concrete with a waterproofing and corrosion-resisting admixture, Aquapel.

Aquapel reduces water absorption and transpiration of moisture by 70–80%, compared to normal concrete. Typical test absorption (BS 1881:Pt.122:1983) <1.5%, vs. similar plain concrete ~4%. Gives a slight increase in workability.

Features and benefits:

• Aquapel conforms to the requirements of BS EN 934-2 table 3.1 and 3.2 as a water resisting admixture and CE marked accordingly.
• Compressive strength class C32/40 (or as appropriate).
• Consistence class: S2 recommended unless otherwise agreed.
