Bison Dual Adjustment K Barrier - Motorcycle Prohibitor

The Dual Adjustment K Barrier is a steel gate that works on the principle of blocking the handlebars of motorcycles from passing between the barrier while allowing other mobility scooters and buggies through.

The squeeze plates are in place to allow for adjustments to be made after the installation, allowing a wider width under the plates for wheel chairs and buggies. The width required is dependent on the type of trail/ park/ footpath. The plates are located at a height specifically to prevent motorbikes from passing through​.

Pedal bikes can fit as the width can be adjusted following the installation. Although they are required to slow to a walking pace or dismount and walk the bike through, effectively making trails safer for walkers as it forces cyclists to slow down.

K Barriers are available with or without a floor grid. Floor grids are recommended if the ground surface isn’t solid (e.g. tarmac surface), to prevent the ground wearing away between the barrier.

• Optional steel mesh floor panels – a central panel provides a reliable surface and prevents erosion on high wear area. Additional panels can be fitted either side of the barrier, sloping them into the ground slightly reduces step formation and extends reliable underfoot area.

• Colour powder coating available – match your colour scheme and improve the appearance of the Barrier (squeeze plates are not coated).
