A low-level wooden climbing frame ideal for community playgrounds and schools. Encourages active and imaginative play.
Suitable for playgrounds.
Active play is a great way of encouraging a healthy lifestyle from a young age. It also keeps young minds agile and engaged. At Hand Made Places from Broxap we design, manufacture and install a large range of play units and climbing frames to challenge children of all ages and ensure that play time is always fun.
Our timber play towers incorporate a wide range of elements so that there is something for every ability. Scramble nets, pull up ramps and steps are linked by bridges and platforms to chutes, slides and firefighter poles. Our collection includes the Timble range built specifically for Early Years Settings as well as a variety of multiplay units perfect for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 age groups. These come in various heights and sizes from the Henry IV play castle to the Sunflower Play Unit. All of our play towers spur children on to take part in activities which strengthen muscles and bones, build confidence and develop coordination. Perfect for school playgrounds, leisure sites, holiday destinations and parks and recreation grounds, our play units also encourage interaction between different peer groups, improving their social skills.
Older children may prefer a climbing frame – the perfect accompaniment to our multiplay units and play towers. Thanks to careful design, a timber climbing from Hand Made Places ensures children aren’t made to feel under pressure from those who are more mobile and confident. The various platforms and levels provide an area to rest, socialise and play whilst remaining a part of the group. For a trickier obstacle to overcome, our Amazon Rope Climber or Space Net are good choices. The Ashbury Climbing Frame offers an interesting mix of physical challenges while our range of Heron’s, Hawk’s and Bird’s Nest climbing frames can also be incorporated into school yard games and imaginative play. All of our high-quality wooden play units and climbing frames are built to the highest safety standards and are designed to be durable and robust enough to withstand repeated outdoor play.
A wooden climbing frame, suitable for children ages five years and over. Its scattered poles offer challenging yet low-level climbing opportunities, as well as providing a 'hangout' spot or den.
